Gary Rakan provides strategic counsel on business transactions informed by extensive experience as both an advisor and a principal. With nearly 30 years in the financial services industry, the majority of which was spent with some of the nation’s preeminent asset management firms, Gary brings a directed, results oriented focus to every Vesticor engagement.

As a seasoned business owner, Gary offers a unique perspective to his clients. He has successfully started, operated, and advised enterprises across the apparel, manufacturing, consumer product, and wholesale distribution sectors. Recognizing that a founder’s primary responsibility is the continuity of operations, Gary manages the high stakes complexities of capital raising and deal structure to ensure his clients remain focused on their core business objectives.

Prior to the formation of Vesticor, Gary served as Founder and President of Infinity Capital Partners. Under his leadership, the firm facilitated the raising of hundreds of millions of dollars in public and private funds, demonstrating a sophisticated ability to navigate complex financial landscapes with efficiency and clarity.

Gary remains deeply connected to the business and local community. He serves on several corporate advisory boards and most recently was a member of the Board for the Sparrow Foundation in Lansing, Michigan. He holds a BS in Business Administration from Central Michigan University.

Gary lives in Haslett, Michigan, where he enjoys golfing, traveling, boating, and spending time with his wife and two sons.
