Jeff Bacigalupi is responsible for all aspects of deal execution from the preparation of materials to negotiating intricate deal points to facilitating due diligence. For nearly three decades Jeff Bacigalupi has advised privately held and publicly traded businesses on M&A advisory and capital raises having navigated complex transactions from his extensive investment banking experience. He has also served in the executive suite of public and private companies. Jeff brings a sophisticated, multi-faceted approach to every Vesticor engagement.

Strategic Execution & Industry Depth

Prior to Vesticor, Jeff’s career included tenures at some of the world’s most respected financial institutions including Institutional Derivatives at Susquehanna International Group in Chicago, Institutional Equities at Bernstein Research (AllianceBernstein) in New York, and middle-market M&A with the Corporate Finance Group at Deloitte where he focused on M&A transactions for middle market clients throughout the United States and Europe. He has also served as the CFO of a publicly traded company where he was responsible for quarterly and annual financial reporting as well as raising capital.

  • Sector Expertise: Jeff has facilitated buy- and sell-side M&A transactions for privately held businesses across a vast range of industries, including manufacturing, business and consumer services, consumer products, logistics/distribution, restaurants, financial services, energy, technology, and real estate development.
  • Capital Markets Savvy: His capital raising and deal structure expertise covers the entire capital stack, from common equity and mezzanine debt to senior secured debt and complex derivatives.
  • Lifecycle Versatility: He has successfully raised capital at nearly every stage of businesses’ lifecycle, from early-stage startups to initial public offerings (IPOs).

Appointments & Education

Jeff is a former Adjunct Professor of Finance at Ferris State University. He remains active in the community, having previously served as Founding Co-Chair of St. Michael’s Academy and on the Investment Committee at the Crooked Tree Arts Center.
He holds an MBA from the University of Michigan and a BA from James Madison College at Michigan State University. Additionally, he completed an intensive equity valuation course at Columbia Business School in New York City.
